Explore the exciting field of welding! You’ll learn the basics of welding technology with an emphasis on Shielded Metal Arc (Stick) welding and Gas Metal Arc (MIG) wire welding on low carbon steel. You’ll gain hands-on experience with welding equipment, including the opportunity to complete a welding-art project that you will take home. Previous welding experience is not necessary! Your camp instructors are MCCC and MHS faculty. Registration deadline: one week prior to start date. Six sections being offered for boys and girls grades 9-12th.
