AWS Courses

Courses are designed to teach the skills of Shielded Metal Arc, Gas Metal Arc, Flux Cored Arc, Gas Tungsten Arc, Manual Oxy Fuel Gas and Manual Plasma Arc welding on aluminum, steel and stainless steel on pipe and tube that employers want. To maximize learning, class size is limited to 20 students, which allows for each student to have their own welding machine. This structure of approach ensures that all novice students and adult welders will maximize arc and thermal cutting time, which accounts for 80% hands on welding. The rest of the time, students are in class receiving AWS presentations from the instructor, which includes videos and PowerPoint®-based presentations. Graduating students leave with confidence, skill and understanding of safety and welding theory as well as qualifications from AWS.
